Aqua’s single “Back to the 80’s” entered at number 20 in this week French chart! This chart is based only on physical CD singles sold during the week.
It is a great result considering the lack of promotion the single had in the country! We hope that the single will keep on climbing the chart! Great job guys!

We are still not completely sure about it but it seems that Aqua have recorded a couple of days ago the video clip for their brand new song “Spin me a Christmas”!
The band published on their facebook pages some pictures where they are on a snowy set with René disguised as Santa Claus, Soren and Claus as two elves and Lene with reinvented traditional clothes.
At the moment we are not completely sure that the set is for a video clip it could be just a photo shot but we really hope t is for a video as it seems very funny and colourful just like only Aqua can. We will let you know as soon as we will learn something more.

I just received my copy of Aqua single “Back to the 80’s” imported from France, the first country to get a physical release of the song.
The CD include the International Version of the song (the so called Arnie version) and two remixes.
The first remix “Pizza Club (D.J Tool’s) Remix 2009” has been mixed by René Dif and M. Parsberg, the second “Fugitive’s Retro Mastermix” by Kenny Hayes.

First of all it seems that the name of the brand new Aqua song is not “Spin me your Christmas” but “Spin me a Christmas” and second… we just love it! It is a very good song to listen all the year and not just during Christmas.
The song has been written by Soren Rasted and Claus Norreen.

From today the CD single of “Back to the 80’s” is available in the music store of the country. The CD is in a cardboard sleeve and the art cover is the same of the digital edition.
It contains the original song and two remixes, this is the track list:

We have just learned from the official Facebook page of Soren Rasted that the brand new single from Hej Matematik has been released today! The name of the single is “Party i provinsen” (Party in the province) and is already available on iTunes (click here).
We can’t wait to know if there will be a video for the song and where the new Hej Matematik album will be released!!! Stay tuned!
Two months ago circa BT.dk interviewed the Backstreet Boys while they were staying in Stockholm to promote their new album.
In this interview Nick Carter and Howie Dorough remembered the times when in the 90’s they used to play with Aqua in various fetival across Europe.
- I remember ‘Barbie Girl’. And Lene, she is really delicious! I was pretty sour at the time, because one of the boys from N*Sync hung out with Lene, but she never looked my way. Maybe because I was only 15 years, laughs Nick.
- You were so jealous! I’ve actually hung out with Rene and exchanged numbers with him, says Howie.

While we wait to see the whole Aqua performance at “Les années bonheur” we can already enjoy two pictures from the show!
Infact the French web site Purepeople published the pictures of the show, recorded the 16th of October and that will be aired the 7th of November.
