Aqua “Greatest hits” is still number one in Denmark and with is 15 thousand copies sold in his first week it riceived gold certification! The album surpessed the Danish rock band Nephew and the American rock legend Bruce Springsteen. Also the single is still doing well and is at number one of the single chart for the 4th week!
In Norway the album enter at number 15 while the single “Back to the 80’s” is still in top 10 at number 5!

Michael Jackson is celebrated in two Aqua songs: “Back to the 80’s”, where he is listed between the stars of the 80’s, and “Shakin’ Stevens” where they put his name between other legends of the music like Bleatles and Rolling Stones.

Last friday Aqua performed live at the Vg Top 20 Show (VG-lista Topp20) in Oslo, Norway.
This is their first performance outside Denmark from years and the audience seemed to enjoy their show.
Aqua played “Back to the 80’s” and a medley of three of their biggest hits: “Cartoon heroes”, “Barbie Girl” and “Doctor Jones”.

Thanks to our YouTube friend bubblegumboy1985 we found another short making the video for “Back to the 80’s”, the new Aqua single!
The video is in Danish but it really deserves a look!
Urban has given the opportunity to Aqua fans to ask questions to their favourite band. From the interview we discover that Lene used her celebrity to seduce a model in a club in Spain and that the gruop is sometime embarassed from their own songs.

Lene and Soren
Lene, originally from Norway, has purchased an exclusive villa in the home country.
